Festival of Trees at Granger Homestead in Canandaigua, NY

The Festival of Trees held annually at Granger Homestead in Canandaigua, NY is a wonderful event to get holiday decorating inspiration for your home and Christmas tree(s). The Granger Homestead, a lovely 13,000 square foot mansion, was built around 1816.

For the past 17 years, in November, the mansion has been transformed into a festive display of beautifully decorated trees, table top and mantel decorations, wreaths and more. Most of the displays, which are created by groups, businesses and individuals are donated for a silent auction. I love visiting the mansion at this time of year and highly recommend this event...see for yourself in these images from the 2011 Festival of Tree's. Here I have a few of my favorite decorated trees  followed by a slideshow of Granger Homestead's interior decorated for Christmas!
